Job Title: Junior Fit Out Estimator
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum + benefits

Job Description
The Junior Fit Out Estimator will play a key role in estimating and pricing commercial fit out projects across Central London. This role is ideal for candidates with prior estimating experience or those from a carpentry trade background seeking to transition into an office-based role. The successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development to become a valued member of the estimating team.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial fit out projects.
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
* Support the Estimating team with the preparation of tender submissions.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive prices.
* Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
* Participate in project review meetings to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
* Assist in tracking costs and compiling reports to ensure budget adherence.
Qualifications
* Previous estimating experience in construction or fit out, OR a background in carpentry/trades with a desire to transition into an office-based estimating role.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of estimating software is advantageous.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Driver’s license preferred.
