Job Description

This is an office based role in Gravesend in Kent


Bridging Underwriter


Kuflink have a strong reputation within the Bridging/Finance industry along with ambitious plans for the coming months and years. This is an amazing chance for an Underwriter to play a key role in ensuring the businesses growth with effective risk management, underwriting applications and ensuring the smoothest drawdown. As a member of the Underwriting team, you will be trained to operate within agreed underwriting authority and will take personal ownership of handling cases. You will work as part of a team delivery high quality service to intermediaries.


You will be responsible for

  • Liaising with valuers, solicitors and intermediaries as appropriate
  • Ensuring all client files are always complete and up to date
  • Ensuring that all business complies with the company’s lending criteria
  • Reporting any concerns over underwriting issues to the Senior Underwriter
  • Coordinating the submission and return of application documentation to brokers
  • Completing all reasonable comparable research on properties
  • Carrying out administrative duties as required


Underwriters will need as a minimum

  • Analytical and methodical thinking
  • Decision making skills
  • Desire and hunger to learn and progress
  • Previous experience of underwriting in a bridging environment


Person Specific

  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Go the extra mile to get the job done
  • Self-motivated to deliver high quality service


Salary - Maximum £40,000 depending on experience
