The Asset Data Manager will support this vision by developing and managing Asset Data delivery processes, ensuring that the programme meets the Client asset data requirements noted in contract documentation and AD4s. Where required, the Asset Data Manager will also support the Client in development of any AD4 templates. The business and project Asset Database tool is EMT, which the Asset Data Manager will be responsible for configuration, management and ownership of this tool for the programme, which needs to be integrated with asset data source systems including, EDMS and CAD tools, scheduling tools, drawing and modelling authoring tools, etc. The Asset Data Manager will ensure EMT has been configured to provide automated, validated and verified asset data exchange between source tools as well as to the Client asset data systems, supplemented by DACs.
The Asset Data Manager will develop procedures, workflows and process documents in response to the Client's and project team's Asset Data requirements on the contracts. The Asset Data Manager will also support the project teams by providing the relevant development and training required when using EMT for their role.

You'll make an impact by
- Providing processes, procedures and workflows in place to manage and demonstrate compliance to asset data requirements
- Developing and ownership over Asset Data delivery processes for compliant delivery
- Managing and implement API links in partnership with EMT for automation of asset data V&V and exchange
- Supplying compliant completed AD4s with supporting DACs
- Integration with asset data sources (models, drawings, PW, etc) and Authoring AD4s templates where required.
- Configuring and managing of EMT platform for Asset Data delivery
- Providing technical advice, presentations, and training for project/tender Client, Subcontractors and Siemens RI UK project team
- Ensuring all procedures and tools are deployed consistently across the project/tender by conducting regular project and supply chain partner audits
- Coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to; Siemens RI UK BIM Lead, Siemens RI UK BIM modelling support or separate project/tender specific 3D modelling resources, Client counterparts, key subcontractor BIM managers/directors, internal engineering mangers, IT applications teams, etc.
- Understanding of following software as a minimum; Esri ArcGIS
- Participating in and initiate BIM technical discussions to develop wider information management solutions for the business.
Your success will be grounded by
- Having relevant professional qualifications or equivalent industry experience, ideally to degree level.
- Having comprehensive knowledge of current CAD/GIS/BIM standards and practices from key clients and industry bodies.
- Having proven experience in asset data management on major UK railway projects.
- Having strong commercial awareness, with skills in forecasting and managing resource utilisation and costs.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to filling knowledge gaps.
