Job Description

Are you ready to drive a major transformation in Procurement & Supply Chain management? This role places you at the core of an impactful project, implementing SAP’s advanced S/4HANA system across our UK operations. Within a collaborative, multi-national environment, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning systems and processes to achieve a cohesive, efficient, and compliant operation.

As the S/4HANA Procurement & Supply Chain Officer, you’ll work closely with Group Procurement & Supply Chain teams, the core project team, systems integration partners, and a variety of internal stakeholders. This role will involve guiding the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a harmonized S/4HANA solution, optimizing our end-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Implementation & Coordination: Collaborate with UK and international teams to design and implement standardized Procurement & Supply Chain processes within S/4HANA, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and alignment with global objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the UK representative, advocating for Procurement & Supply Chain interests, and ensuring all functional requirements are addressed during the system’s design and rollout phases.
  • Optimization & Improvement: Identify and execute on opportunities to streamline and enhance Procurement & Supply Chain processes, working with internal teams to fully leverage the power of S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Vision Building: Provide clear guidance and support to enable teams to maximize S/4HANA’s capabilities, facilitating a smooth transition and adoption across departments.

What You Bring

  • Experience: Strong background in Procurement & Supply Chain within a large or matrixed organisation.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in SAP products; experience with S/4HANA is a strong plus but good comprehension of ECC6 and Material Master Management Module.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communicator capable of influencing and leading discussions, from executive-level presentations to cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects and drive change, even when facing ambiguous information or limited data.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French and/or Italian would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Proven Impact: Demonstrated experience in achieving measurable process improvements or transformations in Procurement settings.

Why Join Us?

This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to lead a high-visibility project that’s critical to our operational success. With full support from senior leadership and access to extensive resources, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of our Procurement & Supply Chain functions. We offer a competitive salary, hybrid working options, and potential relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
