Our client is a leading event company, renowned for its world-class catering and hospitality services across some of the UK's most iconic venues. Due to rapid growth and exciting upcoming projects, they are seeking a dynamic, experienced Head of Hospitality Staffing to join their leadership team.
The Role
As the Head of Hospitality Staffing, you will be at the forefront of delivering excellent guest experiences by overseeing the staffing operations across multiple venues and events. You will manage a team of staffing managers who recruit, train, and deploy high-performing teams that uphold the company's reputation for quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Define and implement the staffing strategy to ensure all events are fully and appropriately staffed with highly trained personnel.
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of staffing managers, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Recruitment & Training: Oversee the recruitment, on boarding, and training processes, ensuring that all staff members meet service standards and have the necessary skills and certifications.
- Event Staffing Operations: Coordinate with event managers to forecast and meet staffing needs, adapting to each event's unique requirements.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all hospitality staff comply with health and safety standards and company policies, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Budget Management: Monitor staffing budgets, working closely with finance to meet operational cost targets.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve staff performance, retention, and guest satisfaction, developing best practices for deployment and management.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Proven track record in a senior-level staffing or recruitment role within hospitality, events, or catering.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership qualities with experience managing large, diverse teams.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel to events and varied schedules.
- Passion for Hospitality: A customer-first approach with a genuine passion for delivering memorable experiences.
