Syndicate Data Technician

We are currently partnering with a Market Leading, Lloyd's Syndicate to recruit a Syndicate Data Technician. The successful candidate will provide technical and operational support to the Syndicate Underwriting teams through the analysis and processing of key policy data, and will be contributing to the continued enhancement of policy data quality for all Syndicate Underwriting Teams.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Monitor data quality and identify and implement data quality improvements.
• Provide regular MI reporting to key stakeholders that facilitate accurate outstanding premium monitoring.
• Support Finance and the underwriting teams in undertaking tasks that assist with the monthly close process.
• Assist the Operations and Underwriting teams in the processing of bureau market messaging data that enables the accurate monitoring of outstanding premiums.
• Support the credit control process through data review and query resolution within the Policy Admin System.
• Contribute to the reconciliation of premium settlements to written premium records for Consortia.
• Assist with the production of regulatory returns, such as Lloyd’s PMD.
• Monitor and action Lloyd’s Insurance Company (LIC) bureau queries on behalf of underwriting teams.
• Contribute to the clearance of underwriting Data Validations.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Working experience in Lloyd’s market and understanding of bureau messaging.
• Understanding of Syndicate underwriting models and reporting.
• Professional insurance qualification or studying towards (CII etc.)
• Knowledge of key in-house Underwriting Systems and Policy Administration Systems.
