About ATP Media:

ATP Media is the broadcast and media arm of the ATP Tour. The company manages the production, distribution, and commercial exploitation of the broadcast rights of the ATP Masters 1000 and Nitto ATP Finals tennis tournaments as well as the ATP 500 events, ATP 250s and the ATP Next Gen Finals.


Additionally, ATP Media produces and distributes Original Programming, Non-Live Content – including social, digital, branded content and linear, servicing partners and stakeholders across the ATP Tour season.


The company also owns and operates Tennis TV, the official live video streaming subscription service of the ATP Tour. Tennis TV streams every ATP Tour tournament to a global audience, with over 2,000 live matches a year, to www.tennistv.com and a wide range of streaming devices.

About The Role:

ATP Media is seeking an experienced and motivated Shooter Editor to deliver Original and Branded content across various formats and durations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong storytelling skills with a creative flair for ideation, shooting, and editing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality professional non-live tennis content.
  • Collaborate with Producers and take a leading role in the shooting and editing of projects.
  • Engage in all aspects of production, including ideation, planning, shooting, edit-producing, editing, music selection, and graphics.
  • Camerawork, lighting and sound on location.
  • Editing on site or in the studio/office.
  • Self-producing when required.
  • Organise and maintain camera equipment as required.
  • Play a crucial role in a team dedicated to producing engaging and innovative videos.
  • Work independently to conceptualise, organise, and create entertaining content for social, digital, and linear platforms.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders of ATP Media, the ATP Tour, and tournaments to develop content strands, one-off outputs and filming ideas.
  • Provide assistance to the producer in all aspects of content delivery.
  • Deliver editorially sound and entertaining pieces within strict deadlines.
  • Ensure the quality of output, demonstrating creative flair and editorial judgment in shoot rushes and features produced in the edit.
  • Respond to feedback from Producers and clients.
  • Adapting to Platform Trends: staying updated with platform changes and trends in digital content.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in operating a range of professional camera, lighting and audio equipment, including Sony FS7, FX6, FX9, and FX3, ensuring high-quality footage across various production environments.
  • Proficiency in using a range of editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere.

Strong Technical Knowledge:

  • Dynamic, resourceful, and adaptable to trends, platform changes, and new platforms.
  • Ability to shoot, light, and edit, with extensive experience in state-of-the-art Sony camera equipment.
  • Proficient in editing software, including Adobe Premiere, audio mixing, lighting, and colour correction/finishing to a broadcast standard.
  • Expertise across the wider Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
  • Interest and knowledge in social media, digital content, and social engagement.
  • Experience in producing and editing short-form video features.
  • Experience in supervising edits.
  • Experience in writing scripts for short features or promos.
  • Good tennis knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to extremely strict deadlines.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a wide range of sports programming, delivering short/medium and long-form content.
  • Specialist tennis knowledge.
  • Experience in working on post-produced tennis programming.
  • Good general sports knowledge.
  • Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
