Interim CFO – PE-Backed Professional Services Firm

Location: London (2-3 days per week in office)

Rate: £950 per day (Outside IR35)

Start Date: Immediate

We are partnering with a PE-backed professional services firm who are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide leadership and stability to their finance function during a period of significant change. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in both private equity (PE) environments and professional services sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the finance function, ensuring smooth operations during a period of transition.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and stakeholders.
• Manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Work closely with the PE investors to align financial performance with strategic objectives.
• Implement best practices for financial management and control within a professional services context.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO within a private equity-backed professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of PE dynamics, including reporting requirements and working with PE stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate through periods of uncertainty and change.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

Additional Information:

• Immediate start required.
• This role is offered on an Outside IR35 basis.
• Circa £950 per day rate.
• 2-3 days per week required in the London office.
