Job Description
Account Manager to join an international luxury travel, lifestyle, event PR agency in London.
The Role
Strong media relations skills and the ability to implement innovative, result-driven PR campaigns as well as press trips and events. Adept at managing multiple clients and also considered a trusted source of advice on day-to-day account matters and a supportive and motivating manager to junior team members.
Responsibilities-
Client Satisfaction
- Working in conjunction with the management team, creates, manages and implements PR campaigns and strategies that achieve agreed KPIs and result in high levels of client satisfaction.
- Good understanding of clients businesses and competitors.
- Successfully addresses clients’ communications objectives through innovative and creative activity plans that include the appropriate combination of media angles, press trips, influencer insights and relevant partnership campaigns.
- Main point of contact for day-to-day account matters and tactical PR guidance.
- Where required, incorporates digital strategies into PR campaigns to maximise outreach to target audiences.
- Plans ahead and has a solution-oriented approach to meeting client KPIs
Media & Influencer Relations
- Build strong working relationships within travel and lifestyle media.
- Works closely with media and influencers to develop news angles, stories and pitches to further the clients profile.
- Regularly and proactively suggests new media platforms, new journalists and new places to secure features for clients across all platforms – print, digital, social and broadcast.
- Applies strong project management skills and attention to detail to ensure press trips are a positive experience for the client and attending media, resulting in high quality coverage or influencer campaigns.
Content Development
- Able to produce compelling, on-message content ranging from email correspondence and client reports to PR collateral and first drafts of new business proposals.
- Produce written content that meets standards for quality and accuracy.
Team management
- Helps junior team members effectively prioritise and manage their workload, delivering tasks and projects to agreed timescales and specification.
- Provides the appropriate level of detail and guidance when delegating work to ensure briefs are met and the tasks completed are of a high standard.
- Briefing and providing on the job feedback.
Business Development
- Proactively develops a network of travel industry connections through regular attendance at industry events and being active on relevant social media channels.
- Supports senior team members in the preparation of new business pitches, participating with enthusiasm and a desire to win.
