Job Description

EXCLUSIVE PROJECT - 6 month duration - ENTERTAINMENT/LEISURE SECTOR


Central London - circa 2/3 day a week in the office - LONDON


Day rate circa £650 a day outside IR35 x 2 Vacancies


Consultant - External Reporting - US GAAP - Very Cool Media/Entertainment Business


Requirements:


  • Completing and issuing accounting policies across a broad range of topics, revenue recognition, capitalized costs, barter, leases, Group balance sheet rec policy etc.
  • Needs to be technically strong and used to working in a complex business environment.
  • Strong, personable character required, given the working environment. Needs to be able to speak and communicate effectively to non-Finance.
  • Able to provide first level of training across Finance and some areas of non-Finance.
  • Help drive standardisation of policy adoption across the business.
  • Support business in accounting matters relating to various transactions in normal course of business.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP / SEC requirements.
  • Experience in 10Q/K & 8K filings.
  • Work very closely with Head of Group Reporting to ensure aligned on technical accounting matters and provide cross support as needed either in technical accounting matters or supporting the quarterly filings.
  • Experience in stock-based compensation, ideally with using an admin tool such as Shareworks or Global Shares.
  • Maintain the share cap table
  • Provide support in ad hoc share related queries, share buy-backs, proxy statement etc.
  • Ad hoc activities as required.
