The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for a UK based Event Producer to join our growing team. As a Producer you will be accountable for the development and delivery of all aspects of the presentation of an event - from (but not limited to) communication strategy through show content, media design, decoration and layout of the rooms - within budgets and to clients’ requirements.
You will maintain a holistic, balanced view and control across all elements of the delivery of the companies’ events. Working collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers and clients to provide a creatively inspired, seamlessly delivered, exceptional client experience. Ensuring all legal, regulatory and health and safety requirements are met.
This role would suit someone who is looking to continue developing their career in event production and has proven and hands-on experience in a similar role, they will have a sound knowledge of event design including different types of visual, staging and venue design.
Responsibilities
Event Production
- Take ownership of events ensuring a flawless show from start to finish and oversee the design and delivery of events delivered by team members to ensure an exceptional client experience every time.
- Own and lead the project management and production for assigned events, ensuring project documentation is up to date and accurate, agreed parameters and budgets are met, and that staff take ownership of tasks assigned to them1.
- Manage and lead the event onsite, effectively liaising with clients, colleagues, suppliers, and venue staff to implement the brief, address any issues, own and solve problems, and adapt plans as required, in order to meet client expectations and to deliver an exceptional experience.
- Develop the production brief in collaboration with internal colleagues and the client, turning creatively inspired ideas into practical solutions and giving advice and support on how to ensure the delegate experience is consistent, positive, and memorable
Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with Account Director/Project Director/Executive Producer and others to understand the event objectives, internal and external resource requirements, production, logistical and venue requirements.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients on given projects, driving the project forward as required. Manage and respond to their requests and questions in a timely manner.
Team Management
- When appointed project lead, proactively manage the project team ensuring robust project management and meeting cadence. Produce and manage all required project documentation and timelines.
- Manage small project teams and contractors, providing day-to-day guidance and support as required, sharing knowledge and experience to develop their skills and demonstrate the Nteractive values at all times.
Supplier and Budget Management
- Build and manage an effective network of reliable suppliers. Negotiate, scrutinize, and manage supplier contracts, quotations, and proposals to ensure value for money and consistent high-quality delivery to agreed standards and deadlines.
- Develop timely and accurate budgets to ensure effective financial delivery of the event, proactively manage budgets, identifying issues and addressing these early with colleagues or clients, as appropriate, with the aim of delivering outstanding value for money for the client.
Continuous Improvement
- Seek to continuously improve events and efficiency of the team through analysis of client and attendee feedback and data gathered during and post-show1.
- Working with senior and executive producers and creative teams, oversee show content design and production. Ensure all content is produced to the highest of standards.
Skills, experience and competencies
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- Proven hands-on experience in a similar Producer role delivering events to deadlines and budget
- A track record of delivering high quality customer focused services
- Sound knowledge of event design including different types of visuals, staging and venue design
- Good financial and business acumen with experience of basic budget and contract management
- Competence managing project budgets of more than £500k/$500k
- Proven Excel skills at advanced level, confident in Microsoft PowerPoint and sound ICT skills in general.

- Ability to manage own tasks and work to deadlines
Other requirements
- Quiet home environment from which to work (although the successful candidate may be required to be office based and have the ability to travel to the office to aid team collaboration or meet client needs).
- Minimum of 25MB download and 2MB upload speed for home broadband capacity to meet Nteractive homeworking business requirements.
- Liking for and ability to undertake international travel thorough the calendar – approximately 25% of the year.
