Litigated MOJ Paralegal

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established law firm renowned for providing specialist legal advice to both businesses and individuals. Recognised internationally for exceptional client care and high-quality lawyers, the firm is expanding its team and seeking a File Handler to manage their own caseload of litigated small claims track files.

In this role, you will efficiently handle both quantum and liability small claims cases while employing effective telephone negotiation techniques to secure appropriate settlements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience in handling RTA files, either within a law practice or as an insurer
• Strong knowledge of the Highway Code and fundamental principles of the Road Traffic Act
• Familiarity with Court Practice Rules
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritise, and manage a diverse caseload
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
• Strong analytical and evaluative skills, with the ability to communicate information clearly
• Proficient IT skills
• Outstanding organisation and time-management abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Professional and effective communication with team members and clients
