The Role

Superb opportunity to join an award-winning and prestigious law firm based in Birmingham that offers specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of Insurance and Private clients.

The firm is recognised across the UK for its outstanding client care and high-quality lawyers. It has an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality partner-led advice with exceptional personal service.

Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Healthcare Advisory / Court of Protection Team, it is now seeking to appoint an experienced Solicitor to work alongside the existing Court of Protection Team.

The ideal candidate will be a solicitor with 0-5 years PQE, ideally in Health and Welfare Court of Protection.

There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong lawyer with ambition, who can develop relationships and put clients at ease during potentially very stressful situations.

The role will include working closely with the firm’s Healthcare Advisory team handling Court of Protection matters with some Inquest and Data Protection issues.

The Candidate

• Solicitor with 0-3 years PQE
• Candidates who have experience of working on cases involving heath and welfare
• Highly organised
• Have the ability to multi task
• Have the ability to work independently
• Experience in Court of Protection or Private is preferable
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
