Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer on 6-Month Contract based in South Wales
This Role is INSIDE IR35
Summary of Role:
Following the success of Cyber Security we are recruiting for a Cyber Security Engineer to assist the existing Cyber Security team in innovation projects and proactively assist in the development the Cyber Security engineering resource. The role will provide dedicated technical expertise and support for operational technologies (OT) and cyber disciplines at Cyber Security .
Key accountabilities
· To add value to Cyber Security and pay a critical part in the development and expansion of Cyber Security capabilities and expertise.
· Detailed understanding of the Safe Control of Operations procedures and authorised as Authorising Engineer within SCO/91 and EL/96 for all asset types, and undertakes role of Job Owner and Site Controller.
· Circa £1m per annum, regulatory allowances for both project (CAPEX and OPEX) and the run the business OPEX.
· Maintaining programme documentation as required to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulatory requirements, in particular the NIS Regulations, Price Control Deliverables and CAF framework.
· Manage any handover/transition as required to Business as Usual (BAU) as per the scope/objectives of the programme.
· Mentoring of Cyber Security technicians to provide knowledge share and technical guidance in line with regulation and NGT policy and procedures.
· Directly support stakeholder satisfaction levels by responding to stakeholder queries effectively and in a timely manner, escalating when necessary and ensuring that corrective action is taken by the delivery units and wider project team.
Desirable Requirements:
· Detailed understanding of the Safe Control of Operations procedures and authorised as Authorising Engineer within SCO/91 and EL/96 for all asset types, and undertakes role of Job Owner and Site Controller.
· Knowledge of the NGT operating model.
· Field experience on gas operational sites.
