Senior Data Engineer - IICS

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing robust data pipelines, with specific expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex ETL/ELT processes, cloud data integration, and data management. The role demands deep technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities : - Design & Develop ETL Pipelines : Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable ETL pipelines using IICS and other data integration tools. - Data Modeling & Architecture : Design and implement complex data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Cloud Data Integration : Work extensively with cloud-based data platforms and storage solutions, ensuring smooth data integration between on-premise and cloud systems using IICS. - Data Quality & Governance : Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance. - Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize data pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and performance, ensuring real-time or near real-time data availability. - Collaboration & Leadership : Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide suitable solutions. - Mentorship : Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practices for data engineering, ETL design, and cloud-based solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, and Data Integration. - Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and other Informatica platforms (PowerCenter, etc.) - Strong proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Expertise in working with cloud data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse Analytics. - Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala. - Experience in API integrations, data transformations, and automation using IICS. - In-depth knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, data migration, and data warehousing techniques. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in the context of data integration. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
