SAP ABAP Developer - Implementation & Support

Role - ABAP Developer Location - Bangalore Mode - Hybrid NP - Immediate overview of job functions : - Responsible for the development and maintenance of configurable ABAP applications in the SAP ERP solutions. Key Accountabilities : The roles and responsibilities of the ABAP Developer are listed as follows : - Engage with other team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions - Analyse and design configurable solutions to user requirements - Develop technical specifications from functional requirements - Develop ABAP programs according to documented coding standards - Execute unit tests and integration tests for developed functions - Conduct peer reviews of technical deliverables - Troubleshoot technical issues and assist with technical problem resolution - Present options for resolving issues, unique requirements and gaps - Perform go-live and post go-live operational support Knowledge and Skills Technical Skills Required : - Proven knowledge of the ABAP Development Workbench - Proven knowledge of the ABAP procedural and Object Oriented programming models - Proven knowledge of the Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) and Gateway Services - Proven knowledge of SAP Business Process Technology Platform (BPT) - Customisation of SAP Process based workflows - Implementation of BADI's provided by the SAP application when required to enhance processes - Extensive knowledge of SAP Interface and Integration techniques - Proven knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle Designer General Skills : - Operate as a trouble shooter with use of SAP error finding procedures and tools - Use of SAP support portal to search for and apply SAP Correction notes - Performance optimisation and program tuning - Strong analytical skills and ability to write technical specifications - Knowledge of Transports System - Assist and mentor less experienced staff - Share knowledge and experience with other members of the team - Ability to work to a deadline - Must be a team player - Strong interpersonal and communication skills combined with a determination to help meet client needs Qualifications or Experience : - SAP Certification is preferred - Recognized Information Systems qualification - Experience 4 to 10 years (mid-level to senior) - SAP MM exposure beneficial - SAP Fiori / UI5 development experience is beneficial (ref:hirist.tech)
