Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation/API Testing

Job Title : QA Engineer. Location : Bangalore, India. Job Description : We're seeking an experienced QA Engineer with 6 years in API and Web Application testing, including automation for API and UI. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of STLC, test case creation, and the defect life cycle, along with experience in writing automation scripts. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of software delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 6 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on API and Web Application testing. - Proficiency in developing and executing automation scripts for API and UI testing using tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or similar. - Strong understanding of the defect life cycle and experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar. - Experience in test case creation, execution, and maintenance based on product requirements. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with stakeholders and provide clear status updates. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications : - Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. - Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo. - Knowledge of performance testing is a plus.
