Cibirix - Node.js Developer - Javascript/Express.js

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Node.js applications using best practices. - Develop and implement APIs (RESTful preferred) to integrate with various services and front-end applications. - Optimize application performance for speed and efficiency. - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code. - Collaborate with designers, product managers, and front-end developers throughout the development lifecycle. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Node.js technologies and trends. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth application operation. Requirements : - 5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Node.js. - In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its asynchronous programming paradigm. - Experience with a popular Node.js framework (Express.js, NestJS, etc). - Experience with building and deploying applications on cloud platforms is a plus (AWS, GCP, Azure). - Solid understanding of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or non-relational databases (MongoDB). - Experience with version control systems (Git). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - A passion for building high-quality, user-friendly applications. Bonus Points : - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis CI, etc. - Experience with real-time web applications and event-driven architectures (Socket.io, Kafka, etc. - Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc. - Experience with TypeScript (ref:hirist.tech)
