VB/.Net Developer

Job Description : As a VB.Net Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using VB.Net and associated technologies. You will work closely with the development team to design, implement, and optimize software solutions that meet client requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of ASP.Net, SQL, ADO.Net, and VB.Net, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities : 1. Software Development : - Design, develop, and maintain web applications using VB.Net, ASP.Net, and ADO.Net. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. 2. Database Management : - Develop and manage database solutions using SQL Server. - Design and optimize database schemas and queries for performance. 3. Application Testing : - Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software functionality and performance. - Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing and quality assurance. 4. Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze project requirements. - Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback and improve code quality. 5. Documentation : - Create and maintain technical documentation related to software development processes. - Document code changes and enhancements for future reference. 6. Troubleshooting and Support : - Identify and resolve issues in existing applications and software. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users as needed. 7. Continuous Learning : - Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in software development. - Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills. Key Skills Required : - Proficient in VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, and SQL Server. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with web application development and RESTful services. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
