Multimedia Developer - Dolby/ARM Platform

Job Overview : You will be responsible for designing and implementing audio processing solutions on ARM platforms, ensuring high-quality audio playback and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities : - Develop and optimize audio decoding modules using C/C++ for various Dolby audio formats, including MS12, AC-3, E-AC-3, Dolby Digital, and True HD Atmos. - Work with Next Kernel Audio and Next MM to enhance audio performance and features. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define audio requirements and implement solutions on Linux-based systems. - Utilize frameworks and technologies such as ALSA, OpenMAX, and PulseAudio in audio development. - Conduct compliance testing and certification for Dolby audio technologies to ensure adherence to standards. - Troubleshoot and debug audio playback issues, ensuring optimal performance across various devices. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in audio technologies and integrate relevant improvements into existing : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - 5 years of experience in audio software development with a focus on C/C++. - Strong knowledge of Dolby audio decoders (MS12, AC-3, E-AC-3, Dolby Digital, True HD Atmos). - Proficient in software development for ARM platforms. - Familiarity with Linux operating systems and audio frameworks (ALSA, OpenMAX, PulseAudio). - Experience in audio compliance and certification processes for Dolby technologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with additional audio codecs and standards. - Knowledge of real-time audio processing and optimization techniques. - Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
