Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

Job Title : QA Automation Engineer Job Description : - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for new and existing applications. - Design and implement automated testing frameworks and strategies. - Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Execute automated tests and analyze results, identifying and documenting defects. - Perform regression testing and validate fixes in a timely manner. - Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing. Primary Skills : Selenium, java, API, cucumber, SQL (all are mandatory skills). Candidate must have strong coding experience in Java. Key Responsibilities : - API testing/ Automation is a must - PostMan/ RestAssured/ Karate or similar - Hands on Experience with Test automation frameworks - Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar - Strong Coding skills - Java/ Jscript, Core Java, Typesctipt or similar - Strong expertise building Scenarios with BDD frameworks Cucumber, Specflow or similar - Ability to Develop, design and build test automation frameworks from scratch - choosing right frameworks based on project needs - Cross browser testing / automation using SauceLabs/ BrowserStack or similar - Ability to work in a flexible/ fast paced Agile environment - Strong communication skills, problem solving skills - Define and report Quality Engineering metrics - Lead and mentor a team of Quality engineers - Hands on Experience on SQL.
