Job Title : Senior Data Security Engineer Location : Mumbai Notice Period : Immediate Joiner Only Experience Required : 12-15 Years Responsibilities : - Lead the data security engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful project delivery and career development. - Define the data security delivery roadmap in alignment with overall security and business objectives. - Develop and implement data discovery, classification, and labeling activities using tools such as BigID and Microsoft Information Protection (MIP). - Create and implement robust DLP and DRM solutions across various data exfiltration channels (Email, Web, Print, USB, etc. ) - Develop automated workflows and processes for data protection across structured and unstructured data sources. - Implement data security technologies and tools, including key management, encryption, masking, and tokenization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, architecture, operations, and data governance. - Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on data security topics, providing guidance to leadership and technical teams. - Establish best coding practices for consistency, maintainability, scalability, and documentation. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required : Essential : - At least 10 years of experience in Information Security engineering disciplines and technologies. - A minimum of 5 years in security engineering with a focus on data security, secrets management, and encryption. - Proven experience in leading and managing a team of data security engineers. - Hands-on experience in setting up development activities throughout the SDLC, including integration with CI/CD pipelines. - Proficiency with data security tools such as BigID, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP), Symantec DLP, and IBM Guardium. - Expertise in DLP, DRM, data classification, encryption, masking, and tokenization technologies. - Strong knowledge of encryption standards (AES, RSA, PKI) and key management tools (HSMs, AWS KMS). - Understanding of industry best practices in code maintenance, versioning, and documentation. - Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and programming languages (Java, C#) for automation and custom development. - Experience with secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). - Strong understanding of cloud security in platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Beneficial : - Advanced security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent). - Experience in developing and managing data security programs and strategic initiatives. - Familiarity with information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CSA, SCF). - Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI and machine learning for data security analytics. - Familiarity with security operations tools, SIEM platforms, and incident management systems.
