Full Stack Developer - Next.js/Supabase

Job Title : Senior Full Stack Developer (Next.js, Supabase, TypeScript, PostgreSQL) Job Description : We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with a deep understanding of modern web development technologies and architecture, particularly in Next.js, Supabase, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will contribute to the scalability, maintainability, and performance of our application by refining existing features and leading new development initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our front-end and back-end systems are streamlined and optimized for user experience, reliability, and growth. Key Responsibilities : - Lead development and improvement of scalable web applications using Next.js and TypeScript. - Optimize our existing Supabase-powered backend, including database management, API routes, and real-time data handling. - Refactor and enhance the UI components using React, Tailwind CSS, and other modern libraries to improve modularity and performance. - Analyze, design, and develop new features in areas like project management dashboards, analytics, and user access control systems. - Implement state management solutions (e.g., Zustand, React Context) to handle complex, cross-component data flows. - Improve the current architecture by reducing redundancy and simplifying deeply nested components and folders. - Collaborate with the design and product teams to improve user experience, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces. - Mentor junior developers, reviewing their code and ensuring adherence to best practices. - Ensure the application is tested thoroughly through unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. - Write and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries for data retrieval, aggregation, and performance tuning in high-volume databases. Required Skills : - 5 years of experience with React.js and Next.js frameworks. - Expertise in Supabase or other backend-as-a-service platforms. - Proficiency in TypeScript for building type-safe, maintainable codebases. - Solid experience in building API routes, database migrations, and integrating SQL or NoSQL databases. - Expertise in PostgreSQL including advanced query writing, performance optimization, and understanding of database indexing. - Strong understanding of modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS and UI component libraries. - Familiarity with state management tools (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Context). - Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development. - Ability to optimize front-end performance and ensure responsiveness across devices. - Strong organizational skills to maintain well-structured, readable, and scalable codebases. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with Supabase migrations, real-time data, and API scaling. - Familiarity with microservices architecture or transitioning from API-based backend to microservices. - Previous experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring teams. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, and database tuning with PostgreSQL.
