Senior DevOps Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Job Description : - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins for automated build and deployment processes. - Manage and optimize application servers, including Tomcat and nginx, ensuring high availability and performance. - Collaborate with development teams to integrate security tools such as Snyk and SonarQube into the development lifecycle. - Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently. - Implement monitoring and logging solutions using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure application reliability and performance. - Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes for scalable deployment. - Manage cloud resources on Amazon EC2, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost management. - Conduct regular system performance tuning and troubleshooting to enhance application reliability and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and improve DevOps practices and processes. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Skills Required : - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins. - Knowledge of security practices and tools such as Snyk and SonarQube. - Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Amazon EC2. - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. - Strong understanding of MySQL database management. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
