Java Developer - Microservices Architecture

Job Title : Java Developer with Kafka. Experience : 7 Years. Location : PAN India. Availability : Immediate Joiners Preferred. Job Summary : - We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Kafka to join our dynamic team. - The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in Java development and strong knowledge of Kafka, with a focus on building and optimizing scalable, distributed systems. - As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate with architects, developers, and analysts to deliver high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications with a focus on real-time data processing using Apache Kafka. - Implement and optimize Kafka producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams to support large-scale distributed systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions. - Ensure high-quality code through best practices, code reviews, and unit testing. - Work with DevOps and infrastructure teams to implement Kafka clusters, monitoring, and performance tuning. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and related data pipelines. - Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring they remain efficient, scalable, and secure. - Collaborate in an Agile environment, participating in sprints and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Required Skills and Qualifications : - 7 years of experience in Java development, including expertise in multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization. - Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and its ecosystem (Kafka Streams, Connect, etc. - Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs. - Experience working with Kafka clusters, configuration, and tuning for performance. - Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and real-time data streaming. - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns. - Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar. - Experience in CI/CD pipelines and working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams API. - Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. - Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Maven. - Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum development processes. Educational Qualification : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
