Solution Architect - Backend Development

About the Role : As a Backend Solution Architect, you will be responsible for understanding third-party provider solutions, identifying gaps, leading design enhancements, and collaborating with providers and scrum teams to develop solutions that meet our requirements. This role requires strong architectural experience and active involvement in development within recent projects. A solid knowledge of banking platforms is essential, as we operate in an agile environment that values teamwork and speed. Key Responsibilities : - Architectural Design : Lead the design and implementation of backend architecture for complex applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. - Development Oversight : Work closely with development teams to ensure that the banking platform meets performance, scalability, and reliability requirements for customers, borrowers, and investors. - Microservices Architecture : Design and implement microservices-based solutions that enhance application scalability and maintainability. - Cloud Integration : Leverage cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) to build and deploy scalable applications while ensuring security and compliance. - Collaboration : Work with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with corporate standards and contribute to our client's banking platform strategy. - Documentation : Create comprehensive architectural documentation to communicate design decisions and project progress to stakeholders. - Mentorship : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members on architectural best practices. - Continuous Improvement : Stay current with advancements in the banking industry (deposits, loans, cards) and integrate relevant innovations into our architecture. Required Skills : - Extensive experience in backend development, including strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and database technologies. - Proven experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in leading design and code reviews while ensuring best practices are followed. About You : You are hands-on with over 14 years of software development/architecture experience.
