Lead Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Responsibilities : - Lead and mentor a team of Android developers, providing technical guidance and support. - Drive technical decision-making and architectural choices for the SDKs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specifications. - Develop and maintain high-quality Android SDKs using Java and Kotlin. - Ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability through code reviews and best practices. - Optimize app performance, battery usage, and memory footprint. - Implement robust security measures to protect user data and app integrity. - Design and implement scalable and maintainable software architectures. - Choose appropriate architectural patterns and design principles. - Collaborate with the team to define clear technical roadmaps and milestones. - Identify and resolve complex technical challenges. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and industry trends. - Plan, track, and manage the development lifecycle of SDKs. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery. - Use Agile methodologies to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements. - Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients. Requirements : - Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages. - Deep understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Android development best practices. - Experience with architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, etc.) and design principles. - Knowledge of Android Jetpack components (WorkManager, Room, Navigation, etc.). - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of performance optimization techniques and debugging tools. - Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks. - Strong leadership and mentorship skills. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Passion for technology and a desire to learn new things. - 4-6 years of experience in Android development. - Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams. - Experience in developing and releasing Android SDKs or libraries.
