Data Scientist/Data Analyst - Python Programming

Job Title : Data Scientist / Data Analyst Position Type : Permanent Remote Work Qualifications & Experience : Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience : - Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Science or Data Analysis, working with large datasets, performing statistical analysis, and generating insights. - At least 2 years of experience in Python programming, including using popular data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar tools for data analysis, modeling, and visualization. Key Skills : Data Analysis & Modeling : - Experience in performing data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis to extract meaningful patterns and insights. - Proficiency in applying statistical methods and building machine learning models to solve business problems. Python Proficiency : - Strong programming skills in Python, specifically for data processing, analysis, and machine learning tasks. - Familiarity with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib or Seaborn to present findings clearly and effectively. Tools & Technologies : - Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) for extracting and manipulating data from databases. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus. Work Schedule : - Full-time Position: Monday to Friday, working 8 hours a day. - To ensure collaboration with teams in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone, there will be 4 hours of overlap, specifically from 8:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST. The remaining 4 hours can be worked during regular Indian Standard Time (IST) business hours.
