Job Description

Position : Diagnostics Tool Development Engineer Experience : 5-7 Years Location : Bangalore Key Responsibilities : C#, UDS & Diagnostics - Develop and maintain automotive diagnostic tools using C# (C Sharp) for various vehicle systems. - Implement and work with UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) protocol to support diagnostics functionality in automotive systems. - Design, develop, and integrate diagnostic communication protocols for automotive ECUs. - Perform testing, debugging, and validation of diagnostic tools to ensure system integrity and compliance with OEM standards. Job Description : - 5-7 years of experience in automotive diagnostics tool development. - Strong proficiency in C# for desktop application development. - Hands-on experience with UDS (ISO 14229) diagnostic protocol. - Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, KWP2000. - Familiarity with automotive standards like ISO 14230, ISO 15765, or similar. - Experience with diagnostic testing tools and simulation environments. - Ability to analyze and interpret diagnostic data and logs. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to gather diagnostic requirements and ensure tool compatibility with vehicle architectures. - Provide support in resolving diagnostic issues and enhancing tool performance. - Develop detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, interface descriptions, and diagnostic specifications (ref:hirist.tech)
