CGI - API Automation Tester - POSTMAN

Role : API Automation Para soft or Automation Postman Experience : 4-7 Years Np : Immediate Location : future duties and responsibilities : - 5 yrs experience in API Manual and Automation testing - Experience with QA processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests. - Experience working on Parasoft SOATest , SOAP UI, UFT API Test - Technical background and an understanding of web services, protocols such as HTTP and HTTPS, and REST APIs - Should have a deep understanding of API protocols and technologies such as REST, SOAP and J JSON to be able to test APIs effectively. - Create, modify, and manage Jenkins jobs to automate testing workflows. - Experience in validation and automated testing frameworks - Responsible for creating and executing test plans, test cases, test automation, identifying automation opportunities and compiling test reports. Required qualifications to be successful in this role : - Good in root cause analysis and debugging skills. - Good Working Experience in Test Cycle Planning, Execution, Test Reporting, Defect Tracking till closure, Quality Metrics - Good Knowledge and work experience in Agile scrum model. - Perform functional testing, requirement analysis, and derive API test scenarios. - Design and code test cases and frameworks to streamline test development and automation processes. - Should be able to communicate effectively with Client, developers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions. - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. - Excellent communication skills and proven analytical capabilities.
