IP Design Engineer - System Verilog

Position : IP Design Engineer - Crypto Design Location : Bengaluru Experience Level : 8 years Budget : Open Key Responsibilities : - Design & Development : Create and implement robust cryptographic algorithms and protocols (e.g., AES, RSA, ECC) tailored for various applications. - Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define specifications for crypto IP architecture. - Verification : Develop RTL designs using Verilog/VHDL, and execute thorough verification processes utilizing simulation tools and methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog). - Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize designs for power, area, and speed, ensuring compliance with industry benchmarks. - Documentation : Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, verification plans, and user manuals. - Code Quality : Participate in code reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure high quality and maintainable code. - Research & Development : Stay abreast of advancements in cryptography and security standards, and integrate relevant innovations into designs Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in IP design with a strong focus on cryptographic solutions. - Technical Skills : Proficient in hardware description languages (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL, with a solid understanding of digital design principles. - Standards Knowledge : Familiarity with cryptographic standards and protocols (e.g., NIST standards) is essential. - Verification Expertise : Experience with verification methodologies, including UVM and System Verilog, is a significant advantage. - Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Skills : - Experience with FPGA or ASIC design flows. - Knowledge of security concepts and practices in hardware design. - Familiarity with development tools such as synthesis and simulation software.
