Azure Data Engineer - Azure Databricks/MSBI

Job Title : Azure Data Engineer Location : Bangalore OR Remote (Pan India) Experience : 8 Years Employment Type : Full-time Job Description : We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team at a leading MNC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and MSBI (Microsoft Business Intelligence) technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced data solutions to support business analytics and reporting needs. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Implement scalable and efficient data processing solutions using Azure Databricks. - Work with MSBI tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) to build and maintain BI solutions. - Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to ensure accurate data integration and reporting. - Optimize and troubleshoot existing data pipelines, ensuring data quality and consistency. - Develop and deploy ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various data sources. - Ensure data governance and compliance with security policies and best practices. - Use SQL and other programming languages to perform complex data manipulations. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 8 years of experience in data engineering. - Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. - Strong experience in MSBI tools including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS. - Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and transformation. - In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. - Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in data architecture and designing end-to-end data solutions. - Familiarity with other Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage. - Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab. Soft Skills : - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
