Cloud Security Engineer

This role is with India's Largest : 3 to 5 years Industry Type : E-commerce Job description : We're looking for a security-minded individual that has good cloud engineering experience to increase the security of products in cloud. Required Skills : - 3 years of experience working with public cloud infrastructure security - Strong working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Azure / AWS / GCP. Thorough understanding of cloud and network security. - Experience with deployment of security tool in DevSecOps pipeline for secure deployment of containers & Infrastructure (IaC) - Experience with cloud security tools CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP - Experience deploying and customizing security tools such as vulnerability scanners, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security EDRs - Experience developing software with object-oriented languages such as Python, Java etc - Knowledge of networking and web protocols. Basic TCP/IP understanding - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Strong analytical problem-solving skills. - Self-starter, takes initiative with strong conviction Roles & Responsibilities : - Design and develop new tools / technologies related to Cloud Security. - Ensure effective implementation and closure of identified gaps from CSPM, CIEM, CWPP, EDR tools - Perform vulnerability assessment of cloud infrastructure and ensure closure of identified gaps - Manage cloud security configuration to ensure optimal security posture - Fine tune security tool configuration to minimize false positives. - Review data/reports/alerts from these tools and determining the proper course of action - Design and implement network segmentation in hybrid environments. - Define cloud security standards for secure deployment of Infrastructure - Work in designing, planning, and implementing security tools, controls, policies, and processes. - Collaborate with internal teams in securing Azure, AWS, GCP, and other cloud platforms / services. Education and Experience : - 3 years of relevant Cloud security experience - Cloud Security certifications related to Azure/AWS/GCP desired or preferred (ref:hirist.tech)
