Salary : 9-13 LPA Job Description : We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of WordPress development, best practices, and current trends. The role requires someone who can design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring optimal performance, functionality, and user experience. You will work closely with our design and content teams to create seamless, attractive, and functional websites. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and manage websites using WordPress. - Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as required. - Optimize website performance, ensuring fast load times and a high-quality UX. - Customize and extend WordPress to meet client or project requirements. - Integrate and configure plugins, APIs, and third-party services. - Ensure website security by following best practices and implementing the latest security protocols. - Conduct website testing and debugging to maintain and improve performance. - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to complete projects efficiently. - Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs. - Manage content updates and implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility. Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). - 2 years of proven experience in WordPress development. - Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL. - Experience in developing and customizing themes and plugins. - Familiarity with SEO best practices and website analytics tools like Google Analytics. - Understanding of version control (e.g., Git) and Agile workflows. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with WooCommerce and other popular WordPress plugins. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON. - Knowledge of website optimization techniques and tools. - Basic understanding of website hosting, DNS, and server environments.
