DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

Job Description : DevOps Engineer Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud management, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, system monitoring, and security best practices, contributing to the efficient and reliable delivery of our software products. Key Responsibilities : 1. Cloud Infrastructure Management : - Provision and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. 2. CI/CD Pipeline Development : - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. - Optimize build and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. 3. Containerization and Orchestration : - Deploy and manage applications in Docker containers and orchestrate them using Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or OpenShift). - Optimize container orchestration for scalability and performance. 4. System Monitoring and Maintenance : - Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch. - Set up real-time alerts and address production issues proactively. 5. Security and Compliance : - Implement security protocols, including IAM policies, SSL/TLS encryption, and secure API management. - Ensure compliance with industry standards like PCI DSS, GDPR, or SOC2. 6. Collaboration with Teams : - Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance application performance. - Document infrastructure setups and deployment processes using tools like Confluence or Git. Required Skills : - Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools : Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools : Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. - Strong knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). - Expertise in system monitoring tools : Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk. - Knowledge of security best practices and protocols (IAM, SSL/TLS, RBAC). Preferred Qualifications : - Experience in managing large-scale production systems with high availability. - Familiarity with real-time data processing tools such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Exposure to fintech or trading platforms, with an understanding of secure financial systems. - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
