SpotOn - Quality Assurance Engineer - Regression Testing

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback. - Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Prioritize and plan testing activities. - Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests. - Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved. - Perform regression testing. Requirements : - Proven work experience in software quality assurance. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes including Atlassian suite of products such as Jira and Confluence. - Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, experience with python based scripting tests is a plus. - Familiarity with Agile development practices such as scrums, velocity and sprints. - Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. - Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them. - Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements. - Knowledge of various API testing tools such as Postman and JMeter. - Knowledge of web UI testing tools such as Selenium , Browserstack and other cross platform testing tools. - Knowledge of mobile application testing tools both on iOS and Android platforms. - Minimum bachelor's degree or MCA, preferably in Computer Science or related.
