Senior HMI Engineer - Embedded System

An American automotive manufacturer ,a global powersports leader, is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (HMI) to build high quality Infotainment User Interfaces. This is an exciting role on the Ride Command team building world-class connected rider solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, problem solving, attention to detail, design, coding, and testing skills, and is effective in a fast-paced Agile Development environment. Technical Skills : - HMI Development Tools : Proficiency in tools like Qt, QML,other HMI/SCADA software. - Programming Languages : Strong knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, C#, Java, Python, and scripting languages used in HMI development. - Embedded Systems : Understanding of embedded systems and microcontroller programming, particularly for hardware-specific HMI development. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - 6 years of Infotainment software development experience - 6 years of progressive C++ development experience - Excellent UI coding skills using Qt and QML - Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills with minimal supervision. - Experience in agile collaboration models (e.g., Scrum) with deadlines - Experience with well-known design patterns - Experience of Linux inter-process communication techniques Industry - Automotive Experience - 6 to 10 years Location - Bangalore Notice Period - 30 days Job Type - Full tme Education : - BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics engineering, or related field (ref:hirist.tech)
