PharmEasy - Business Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities : As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with Business, Product, and Data Engineering teams to enable data-driven decisions. Responsibilities include : - Collaborating with business teams to gather and understand requirements and build generalized solutions. - Extracting, cleaning, and preparing data from various sources for analysis. - Analyzing data to generate actionable insights and sharing them with relevant stakeholders. - Automating repetitive data processes and solutions. - Ensuring data quality by flagging issues to the Data Engineering team. - Monitoring the execution of action points derived from data insights. - Vetting and signing off on new business requirements. - Sharing knowledge within the team and across departments when needed. Skills and Qualifications : Experience : 1.5 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consumer-facing company. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in SQL/HQL for handling complex queries. - Hands-on experience with Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel for data cleaning, pivoting, and exploration. - Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy, Metabase, etc.) - Basic automation skills using Google Sheets or Excel. - Knowledge of Python programming and Python for Data Analytics. - Familiarity with Machine Learning and Data Science algorithms (preferred). Soft Skills : - Strong communication skills to gather requirements and present insights effectively. - Data curiosity and a passion for problem-solving (ref:hirist.tech)
