Senior Web Application Architect

We are currently looking for a Senior Web Application Architect to join our BankWorld Digital Software Development. Expert in application development, a passion for coding and architecture and you will be responsible for the designing our Digital tooling product. This is an opportunity for get involved in the early stage of design for one of our new product offerings. Creating a tool to dynamically build web apps for customers. This digital tooling solution will empower our customers to deliver agility and reduce time to market for new service offerings. What will you be doing : - Designing and implementing our new digital tooling offering. - Architect framework for new Digital Tooling Solution for our Mobile and Web applications - Maintain strong communication channels with development teams, product architects and management - Proactively participate in the estimation, planning and delivery to agreed schedules of software projects within the team - Occasionally travel to one of our Development offices in Dublin, Amman or Bangalore to laisse with other peers and Architects - Occasionally provide out of hours support for the product - Any other related tasks as required by the line manager What will you bring to our Company - 8 Experience is developing scalable web applications from scratch - Honour's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science - Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver solutions - Proven experience of architecting and delivering technical solutions, with the ability to provide technical leadership, direction and motivation to a development team - Highly motivated and proven experience of developing and implementing new products - High level of attention to detail and strong aptitude for learning new technologies - Ability to work across multiple product areas and remain quality and customer-focused - Excellent communication skills, active listening and the ability to present complex ideas in concise written and verbal descriptions using the English-language - Knowledge of using AI as a complementary part of a low code toolkit - Knowledge and/or experience with distributed architectures - Knowledge and experience working with Angular frameworks - Knowledge and experience of developing low code frameworks and controls over product solutions. - Experience with software systems in the banking sector. - Experience of software testing and methodologies - Proven relevant experience in the Banking Financial Services sector - Creative, innovative, R D driven and passionate about solutions - Excellent technical architect, cooperative and flexible. - Self-starter and ability to work within a distributed team within Agile scrum process - Enthusiastic, proactive, and can-do attitude, keen to be involved at all levels of the product - Articulate communicator, ability to present ideas clearly and precisely, both written and verbally, with concise attention to detail to peers, colleagues and management alike. - Good listener, the ability to listen effectively and to consider input from peers, colleagues and management alike. - Self-reliant, the ability to work without close supervision and address problems in a collaborative environment. - Good problem-solving abilities with the ability to identify and contribute to solutions for the company in a collaborative environment. - Strong customer orientation.
