Dotcod - Power BI Developer - Business Intelligence Solutions

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 4 years of expertise in designing, developing, and managing business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data analytics, data modeling, and visualization techniques, with a proven track record of delivering impactful business insights. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to meet business objectives. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications. - Develop and optimize DAX queries and data models to ensure performance and efficiency. - Integrate Power BI solutions with other applications using APIs or embedded analytics. - Lead the end-to-end Power BI development lifecycle: requirements gathering, data modeling, report development, testing, and deployment. - Implement and manage row-level security and data governance policies for Power BI reports. - Monitor and enhance report performance to ensure the scalability and reliability of Power BI solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders) to align reporting with business goals. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of reporting structures, data sources, and report functionalities. - Stay updated on the latest Power BI features and industry trends to implement best practices. Qualifications : - 4 years of experience in developing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. - Expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). - Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with data transformation using Power Query. - Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data from various data sources such as SQL Server, Oracle, or cloud-based systems. - Proven experience in building complex data models that include relationships, hierarchies, and security models. - Knowledge of ETL processes and integrating data from diverse sources. - Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse) or similar platforms is a plus. - Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps. - Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business insights. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
