We are looking for a PROJECT MATERIAL MANAGER PURPOSE OF THE JOB Coordinate, consolidate and secure QCD commitments within the Material Scope (Metier) in Project Execution. Transversally through the different work packages. Having end to end accountability regardless of if it is Make or Buy. Manage industrial scope assigned by the DIS project ensuring that the products are delivered to the project stakeholders according to project QCD commitments. Work as interface in the core Team meeting representing both Procurement function and Operations/Supply Chain function. POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION Represent the Industrial Operations organization within the project core team. NETWORK & LINKS Project core team members; Support functions: Project Industrial Management, Industrialization, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Sourcing. MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES For Project Execution, the Project Material Manager should: Get QCD commitment as built at tender phase in the respective LU- Leading Unit and Pus- Participating Unit, secure the commitments are well understood by the Project, Industrial, Supply Chain and Procurement team; Ensure that necessary inputs data allowing respect of QCD commitment are consistently and timely made available by other project contributors; Define industrial scheme and related make or buy strategy; Check completeness and on time availability of the detailed design (under PrEM/ Engineer responsibility); Coordinate and supervises the Industrial Operations that are in charge of the following tasks: supervision of material procurement, products manufacturing and testing, logistic & shipment; Supervise cash flow curve related to material orders and minimize the time the material remains in the warehouse. Support project closure to clean and close the Hard Inventory; Have a general vision of the Project’s / suppliers' progress, stakes, and difficulties. Define and agree with Procurement the capture or mitigation plans to be followed by Procurement; Manage the Material EAC/TAC (Estimation at Completion/ Total at Completion), Co-validating ASIP savings, Co-Validates with Sub-System Manager each gap vs CPR0 (deviation sheet & bridge approval process) with escalation to Project and procurement team in case of need for arbitration. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Management Engineering or equivalent; Experience of at least 5 years in project or industrial management roles; Consolidated knowledge and experience in Industrial Operation field; Professional knowledge of English; Basic knowledge on SAP (or others ERP system); Good knowledge on office automation suit (Excel, Outlook); Attitude to teamworking and to collaborate with people of various departments both internal (Project Management, Supply Chain, Industrialization, Manufacturing, Sales, Product Development, Sourcing) and external (suppliers).
