We are currently looking for an energetic Accountant to join our Team at Four Seasons Hotel Florence The Role of Accountant The Accountant directs the efforts, quality and timeliness of all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general cashiering in accordance with local and corporate policies and procedures. Responsibilities Manage accounting transactions such as handling monthly and annual closings, reconciling accounts payable and receivable and ensuring timely bank payments. Match invoices, delivery slips to purchase order-comparing prices, quantities ordered, received and billed. Transfer charges from the hotel outlets and other miscellaneous charges to the appropriate charge account. Prepare manual and weekly checks, gets appropriate signatures, and files all back-up. Scan, file and organize all files according to company procedures. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance and assist in other areas of the accounting office as needed. Comply with all company policies and procedures and bring to the attention of Assistant Director of Finance any discrepancy. Maintain the strictest confidentiality and report any policies breach to the Assistant Director of Finance.
