We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring the successful implementation and operation of our products and solutions. You will be responsible for researching, planning, and adapting green energy-related industries overseas and providing critical support to medium (MV) and large (HV) industry customers to build CHINT application solutions and contribute to continuous business growth, with the practical application of various techniques as well as effective management of the company’s resources. Responsibilities: Use your strong technical and communication skills to interface with the aspect of business and customers on green energy-related industries; Work extensively with Business Development (BD) teams to evaluate and develop applicable solutions; Work with OEMs to develop innovative designs and costing that are scalable to many jobs and customer sites; Work with our Product Manager (PM) teams to develop new products according to the market analysis based on industry customers; Work closely with the research and development team to provide feedback on product performance and suggest improvements; Write and present papers for professional engineering associations; Maintain controlled copies of relevant applications and sales templates and documents; Manage customer related NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and related processes; Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company and promote our products and solutions; Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to continuously improve product knowledge and provide innovative solutions to customers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. 3 or more years of work experience in the green energy-related industry. Thorough technical understanding of distributed energy technologies, including some combination of solar, battery, and reciprocating engines/turbines. MV technologies knowledge is a must. Proven technical problem-solving ability. Strong negotiation skills, both internally and externally. Strong communication skills including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people to make projects work. Ability to effectively utilize dedicated resources and plan, control, and take responsibility for own work. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of Italian and Spanish is a plus. Ability to travel, as needed.
