Responsibilities include: C coding of Android device level drivers for power and audio peripherals Proficiency in development of Linux/Android audio device drivers (Kernel Space) C coding for embedded microcontrollers and / or programmable DSP cores Contribute to test specifications and support lab evaluation of the design Provide design documentation and support field application engineering Desirable skills: Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Microelectronics or equivalent 3 to 5 years of work experience in SW application engineering or similar discipline Experience with embedded microcontrollers / DSPs (Arm Cortex family, Tensilica, etc.) Theoretical knowledge and coding experience in the field of audio DSP Some experience in one or more of the following programming languages/areas: Python, Javascript, Unix Shell Scripting, Android applications, Matlab programming, build systems (Make, CMake, Meson, etc.) Experience with embedded software development in C/C++ for bare metal targets and/or real time operating systems Android driver experience on mobile platforms, good understanding of Android framework and HAL Working experience on Git or similar revision control system SW customer support experience for consumer products Fluent English communication skills Proactive teamwork attitude Curiosity, ingenuity, passion to develop the best products in their class J-18808-Ljbffr
