Job Description

RINA is currently recruiting for a Integration System Engineer to join its office in La Spezia and Genoa within the Aerospace & Defence Division. Mission The resource will be responsible for: Supporting system acceptance both stand-alone and in integrated mode with other on-board systems. The team will provide support during pre-testing and internal testing phases with the site, ensuring normal operation of the systems according to test procedures and indications from the end customer. The team will also provide support in the identification of any malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance work as directed by the Client. During official testing, the team will provide support for the preparation and execution of tests at the shipyard (HAT/HIT) and the preparation and execution of tests during sea trials (SAT/SIT). During post-ship delivery phases, the team will provide support for corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the systems according to directions received from the Client. Key Accountabilities Verify installation of customer's systems: verify that objects are properly installed, wiring, interfaces, tapping cables. Verifying operability of integrated systems. Verification of ship integration. Participation in shipyard testing. Acceptance in the presence of the end customer (e.g., marina) both in the shipyard and in sea trials. Education High School Diploma/GED in Electronics or Other Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering. Qualifications College graduates or surveyors. Knowledge of laboratory instruments (e.g., oscilloscope). Willingness to travel/transfer between Riva Trigoso and Muggiano. Experience in system installation (e.g. Combat system, switching units, industrial PC, alarm system, firefighting systems). Experience with testing equipment and applications. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication related to customer service activities. Knowledge of Linux OS and programming tools is a plus. Fluent English. Ability to understand autonomously technical documents and standards.
