Job Description
Currently we are looking for a Cooling Service Solution Architect . The Cooling Service Solution Architect (SSA) will be responsible for the management of Schneider Electric customers Service Sales Life Cycle (OPEX cycle), focusing on supporting our C&SP customers during all the sales cycle and design phase where the end-to-end cooling service offerings will be discussed and defined. The Cooling Service Solution Architect will play a key role as a customer trusted advisor and support services digital journey. The Cooling Service Solution Architect will lead the definition of best services package, including digital services offer for the customer through a constant relationship with customers and Schneider Electric entities worldwide. What will you do? The Cooling Service Solution Architect will build and maintain a constant relationship with: Global strategic accounts, such as Internet giants, CoLo, Service providers, and large projects, becoming the main single point of contact for services requirements & service value proposition. Local Schneider Electric Front offices, FSVP, Strategic Account Executives, and Services account managers and Services LOB & Services Operation globally. Will improve an intimate relationship that already exists with VIP customers and will apply the same approach with potential new ones, bringing experiences/thoughts for continuous improvement. The final scope is to become trusted advisors for end users and partners, addressing customer needs and pain points based on face-to-face discussions, visits of Datacenter in construction or commissioning phase (Greenfield) but also Data Center in operation (Brownfield) for an end-to-end approach covering EcoConsult, EcoCare, EcoFit value proposition. Lead the technical part of commercial activities to achieve the cooling service ambition and convert customers’ needs identified at early stage of the sales process into the most attractive value proposition leveraging deep industry, technical and service knowledge. Review Request for Quotations (RfQ) providing sales team with clear technical expertise and advice to propose competitive solutions. Communicate market feedback about trends, competitors, and requirements to make appropriate offer enhancements. Support the deployment of Cooling Services playbook in area of responsibilities. Will collaborate on a daily basis across the organization , particularly with: Cooling LOB across all functions, including R&D, Manufacturing & Sustaining and L4 organization. Service LOB, with constant cooperation to identify the best solution to propose to create added value for C&SP customer (services and software solutions). Sales team, responsible for the commercial offer for such customer, in the definition of the right approach and prioritization. Services & Product specialists/Tendering team, for the right hand-over once the final service value proposition is defined. What skills and capabilities will make you successful? Bachelor or Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering. Three to ten years of experience on cooling matters with focus on DataCenter applications, preferably in Service. Communication and relationship capabilities with particular focus on cross-cultural relationships worldwide and customer-facing experience. Awareness about the Datacenter market and competition. Knowledge about cooling products & services, i.e. Chillers – CDU – inRoom – inRow. Team-oriented approach. Fluent English knowledge, any other language is a plus. What’s in it for you?
