Job Description

Lead the development and implementation of photovoltaic projects , from planning phase to commissioning and ongoing operation. Oversee the technical design of photovoltaic systems, including selection of technologies, components, and equipment necessary for installation. Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards at all project stages. Lead technical and economic feasibility assessment of photovoltaic projects, including performance analysis, energy production estimates, and risk assessment. Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services required for the construction of photovoltaic systems. Supervise installation and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficient operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to identify project opportunities and contribute technical and engineering information for commercial proposals. Stay updated on trends and technological advancements in photovoltaic solar energy, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementation of new technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related field. A postgraduate degree in renewable energy or solar technologies is preferred. Minimum of 5 years' experience in the photovoltaic energy industry, with proven experience in the development and execution of large-scale photovoltaic projects. Deep knowledge of design, engineering, and operation principles of photovoltaic systems, as well as associated technologies and equipment. Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems. Knowledge of safety and quality regulations and standards applicable to photovoltaic systems. Fluency in English and Italian both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus. Availability to travel as required by project needs.
