Location: Greater Hamburg - 25% International Travel - Hybrid

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time

My client is a market leader in equipment and services for pile installation, dedicated to securing tomorrow’s renewable energy through projects such as onshore and offshore wind turbines. With over 150 years of expertise, there state-of-the-art piling rigs set new standards in foundation construction across industries, including oil and gas, bridge construction, and renewable energy.

The Role:

• Quality control of incoming goods (individual and small series parts) according to drawings, data sheets or other test instructions at the central point (primary) or external storage and assembly areas
• Quality control of individual goods at international suppliers according to internal specifications
• Quality control of documents and inspection certificates
• Quality control and evaluation of used parts
• Initial sampling • Execution of non-destructive tests
• Administration and monitoring of measuring instruments
• Archiving of evidence documents and drawings

Your profile:

• Completed training as a quality inspector, industrial mechanic, mechanical engineer or comparable qualification.
• Experience as a quality inspector, preferably in the metal industry / mechanical engineering.
• Good knowledge of non-destructive testing, material analysis and/or welding.
• Initial knowledge of tactile 3D metrology and willingness to acquire it.
• Very good knowledge of ERP and data management systems, e.g. Navision/Sharepoint.
• Very good knowledge of Office 365 tools.
• Willingness to travel for FAT to suppliers worldwide (25%)
• Good written and spoken German.
• Very good written and spoken English.
