Senior Project Manager

We are currently working with a leading renewable energy company seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team.

This role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects, ensuring project milestones are met on time and within budget, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and Supervise Projects: Oversee the development and execution of assigned projects from inception to completion.
• Stakeholder Communication: Align with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, construction authorities, internal teams, and on-site personnel.
• Documentation Management: Handle executive documentation, participate in admissions committees, and manage tendering procedures.
• Project Tracking: Monitor development, engineering, and construction documentation activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and team coordination.
• Lead Meetings: Arrange and lead project meetings to ensure all parties are aligned on project goals and progress.
• Budget Management: Follow up on the planned budget during the construction phase and ensure financial targets are met.
• Progress Reporting: Analyze and report project progress to senior management.
• Quality Control: Execute control over construction works and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Internal Collaboration: Build strong, cooperative relationships with other departments and stakeholders within the organization.
• On-site Supervision: Host regular on-site meetings to monitor project needs and progress.

Skills & Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Several years of experience in EPC Turnkey project management within the construction or plant engineering industry, ideally in PV power plants.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ideally Procore.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering and familiarity with the construction industry.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German and English (written and verbal).
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Personal Qualities: A team player who is responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented. Ability to adapt to changing project needs and meet strict deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
