What You'll Do?

• Responsibility for the (further) development of the data platform (Snowflake, Confluent (Kafka), Databricks), architecture of our data platform and the DWH, as well as responsibility for data flows between components
• Focus on automation at all times, and build tools and infrastructure for your wider data and software colleagues
• Development of our Data Mesh architecture
• Continuous work on the automation and optimisation of technical processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability in ELT/ETL pipelines and data platform administration
• Responsibility of building data protection-compliant end-to-end processes, from connecting data sources, to developing process monitoring
• Implementation of best practices in data engineering across the organisation
• Optimisation of process stability and data quality

What We're Looking For?

• Highly proficient Python backend programming skills (Flask, Django etc.)
• DevOps skills in CI/CD, Terraform and/or Gitlab
• Competency working in cloud-based environments with skills in developing a scalable cloud infrastructure
• Strong Snowflake and Kafka skills
• At least a senior level as data engineer already
